floor-general guard who can score, pass, and rebound
Courtney Lumpkin’s Monmouth profile shows a classic all-around guard with real lead-guard instincts: in the 2003-04 season, she averaged 9.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and a team-best 91 assists, while knocking down 39.9% of her shots and 45.8% from three. Monmouth’s own preview described her as the Hawks’ “floor general,” which fits a player whose value goes beyond points—she organizes the offense, makes teammates better, and brings two-way toughness. If you want a guard who impacts possession by possession, she’s the kind of fit coaches love.
