Gerrit Van Itallie brings disruptive, playmaking energy to Bucknell’s linebacker corps
Van Itallie has shown the kind of high-impact linebacker profile teams like: he’s a willing tackler, has produced tackles for loss and sacks, and has even made splash special-teams plays like a blocked punt, signaling versatility and edge. Bucknell has also recognized him as a Bison Athlete of the Week after an eight-tackle performance, which fits the picture of a physical, assignment-sound defender who shows up in key moments. If you want a linebacker who can create negative plays and contribute beyond standard box-score production, he’s worth a look.
