Junior Guard with Elite Scoring Efficiency and Dual-Role Versatility for Eastern Kentucky
D'Mitri Riggs, a 6-1 junior guard from Bloomington, IL, stands out as Eastern Kentucky's most efficient scorer, averaging 13.8 points per game while shooting nearly 50% from the field in the 2024-25 season [6]. His differentiator is a rare blend of scoring punch and playmaking, having posted 12.2 ppg with five assists per game in prior seasons, including a standout 6-assist, 12-point performance against Fort Wayne [6][8]. Riggs brings high-intensity, unselfish ball-handling with a 'no quit' mentality, though his 36.7% FG% in the 2025-26 season suggests a need for shot selection refinement [7]. With no reported injury history and a reputation for steady leadership, he is an ideal fit for teams needing a versatile guard who can score in bursts and elevate teammates, making him a compelling mid-major prospect for the 2026-27 season.
