JB Williams brings swing-and-miss flashes and reliable bulk innings for UCA
In the 2026 season, Central Arkansas right-hander JB Williams has worked both as a starter and reliever, logging 36 2/3 innings with 25 strikeouts while showing the toughness to take the ball in high-leverage spots. His best trait is versatility: he has given the Bears innings against top competition and even picked up a win at Vanderbilt, but he’s also been hit hard at times, so the profile is more “competitor who can steady a staff” than polished strikeout ace. If you need a durable, attack-minded arm with room to sharpen command, he’s worth a serious look.
