Idaho’s steady, all-around guard with big-shot chops
Tanoris Shepard was a do-everything guard for Idaho who paired scoring, playmaking, and veteran poise in the 2005-06 season, averaging 15.4 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 defensive rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game while leading the Vandals in minutes. He’d already overcome an ACL injury earlier in his college career, and the most useful scouting note is that coaches trusted him in crunch time because he was known for making big shots and big plays. If a team wants a calm, durable, high-usage guard who can run the offense and deliver late, he fits the bill.
