Proven Fordham playmaker with big-game production
Wetzel has been a high-volume, high-impact wideout for Fordham, pairing reliable hands with strong yardage production and red-zone finishing ability; in the available stat snapshot, he ranks among the top FCS receivers in catches, yards, and touchdowns, which points to both trust from quarterbacks and a consistent role in the offense.[1] He also earned preseason All-Patriot League and CFPA watch-list recognition, which supports the view that he is viewed as one of the league’s more established, polished receivers rather than just a stats compiler.[3] His history of special-teams recognition and big-play moments adds value beyond standard receiving numbers, making him a fit for teams that want an experienced, versatile, production-tested receiver.[2][5]
