Marist’s Bob Abbatiello: A low-mileage, all-effort back with old-school utility
Bob Abbatiello is a Marist running back whose value profile leans more “steady and dependable” than flashy box-score beast. In Marist’s 2007 stats archive, he logged 6 carries for 16 rushing yards and also appeared in the All-Academic Team discussion for the 2007 MAAC championship era, suggesting a player who brings discipline and football IQ as much as physicality. He looks like a fit for a team wanting a tough, assignment-sound RB who can help on special teams or in a complementary role rather than carry the whole offense.
