Maddie Oliver brings size, scoring pedigree, and a high-upside guard package to JMU
In the 2025-26 season, Maddie Oliver is a 6-foot freshman guard for James Madison who arrived with real scoring chops, after averaging 18.2 points and 9.3 rebounds as a senior at Norwell High and helping lead a 23-2 team to a state final run. Her game screams versatility: long for a guard, physical on the glass, and already proven as a primary option, which makes her a strong fit for a system that values multi-positional size and toughness. The early college sample is still tiny, so the big question is how quickly that production translates at the next level.
