Wes Estes brings swing-and-miss upside to Wofford’s bullpen
Wes Estes is a 6-foot-1 right-handed pitcher for Wofford who flashed real bat-missing ability as a freshman in 2025, striking out five in 3.2 innings across five relief outings and punching out three in his collegiate debut at Davidson. His calling card is simple: attack the zone, limit damage, and lean on competitive poise in short bursts. Wofford’s staff trusted him in tight midweek spots, and his 13-strikeout, one-earned-run senior-year prep profile suggests upside beyond the current stat line.
