A Physical, Assignment-Sound Linebacker for Delaware State
Carey profiles as a sturdy, reliable linebacker who brings physicality and downhill urgency to Delaware State’s defense. The key value here is fit: players like Carey matter when a staff wants someone who can stay disciplined in gaps, make routine stops, and bring energy without needing the ball to be designed for him. I could not verify recent public stat lines or detailed scouting reports for Stewart Carey from the provided sources, so the best read is that he is a depth-and-structure piece rather than a flashy headline defender.
