Ball-hawking transfer DB with proven production and two years left
T.J. Howe is a spring 2026 transfer from Sewanee who arrives at Chattanooga with two years of eligibility remaining and a résumé that already includes 70 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions and 10 pass breakups, making him a productive, versatile defensive back who can affect both coverage and run support. He profiles as a good fit for a team that values experienced, active secondary players with real ball skills and a track record of making plays rather than just occupying space.
