Zack Ryan brings veteran linebacker grit to Ball State
In the 2016 season, Zack Ryan was a redshirt senior middle linebacker at Ball State listed at 5-11, 220, and he brought rare experience and durability to the Cardinals after piling up 319 career tackles and 42 starts, the most on the 2016 roster.[1] He finished fifth on the team with 69 tackles in 2016, a clean indicator of a dependable, high-motor defender who lived in the heart of the run game.[1] If you want a physical, assignment-sound linebacker with proven leadership and no-nonsense toughness, Ryan fit the bill nicely.[1]
