Tobarie Burton is Alabama State’s high-assist, high-steal engine at guard
In the 2000-01 season, Tobarie Burton gave Alabama State a do-it-all backcourt presence: 5.6 assists per game, 2.2 steals per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 39% shooting from three, all while playing 34.9 minutes a night. That profile screams floor general with disruption skills—he can create offense, pressure ball-handlers, and stay on the court for heavy minutes. The knock is scoring punch, but if you want a guard who organizes, competes, and adds toughness without needing touches to matter, Burton fits the bill.
