No Current Jacksonville State Gamecocks FB Found: DaMarcus Mitchell is a Pro LB/DE, Not College Fullback
Search results reveal no DeMarcus Mitchell as a fullback for Jacksonville State Gamecocks; instead, DaMarcus Mitchell (born 1998, Purdue alum) is a 6-3, 260-lb defensive end/linebacker who played 16 NFL games for New England in 2022 (8 tackles, 3 solo)[1][5], then joined UFL's Memphis Showboats in 2025 after a 2024 championship[3]. His pro hustle and fumble-forcing intensity shine in limited snaps, but he's not a college player or FB—zero differentiators like blocking prowess or Gamecocks ties. Skip for college rosters; pro depth fit only if needing rotational edge rushers.
