Fred Thompson remains a mystery-man LB on Jackson State’s board
Reliable, current public data on Jackson State linebacker Fred Thompson is thin, so there isn’t enough verified evidence to fairly grade his 2026 impact or stack him against conference peers. What can be said: if he’s on the Tigers’ active linebacker group, the fit to watch is simple—can he play fast, tackle cleanly, and hold up in the SWAC’s physical run game? With no trustworthy stat line or recent scouting trail to lean on, the best read is that he’s an evaluation prospect rather than a proven headline-maker right now.
