tall right-hander with pro-style upside and real strike-throwing intrigue
Hunter Pudlo is a Jacksonville State RHP whose appeal is the classic “big arm, starter’s look” package: he’s been profiled as a physical pitcher with a three-pitch mix and fastball life that can touch the low 90s, giving him upside beyond raw box-score numbers. He stands out for his projection and pitchability more than flash, which makes him interesting for teams that value development, strike-throwing, and mound presence. Current public roster info confirms he’s part of the 2026 Gamecocks staff, but detailed 2026 stats were not available in the sources reviewed.
