Tyran Evans brings size, explosiveness, and breakout upside to Miami’s receiver room
In the 2025 season at Hough High School, Tyran Evans showed the kind of ceiling Miami covets: a 6-foot-3/6-foot-4 boundary target who paired 36 catches for 980 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior with improved physicality and big-play juice. He missed time with injury as a senior but still finished with 16 receptions for 214 yards and 2 scores, and evaluators liked his high-ceiling profile enough to rank him as a top-200 type recruit in some services. He looks like a strong fit if a team wants a long, catch-radius WR with vertical upside and red-zone value.
