Leon Bahner brings size, effort, and steady interior rebounding to SJSU
Bahner’s value is mostly in the dirty work: in the 2015-16 season he appeared in 26 games for San Jose State, averaging 1.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game, with a career high of 8 points in a single NCAA game. He fits as a hard-nosed, energy-first center who can battle on the glass and give minutes without needing touches, though his offensive production was limited. Off the court, SJSU lists him as a business finance major with aspirations to become a Wall Street analyst, a sign of discipline and a team-first profile.
