Ben Diamond brings local roots and a walk-on edge to Siena’s backcourt
Ben Diamond is a Siena guard whose value is less about raw box-score production and more about shooting touch, program familiarity, and dependable depth; Siena describes him as a former manager turned third-year active-roster walk-on with a “strong outside shot,” while ESPN lists him as a 2026 guard averaging 0.3 points in limited minutes. That makes him the kind of low-usage, high-buy-in piece coaches like: not a headline engine, but a resilient, developmental fit who can help in practice, spacing, and culture.
