SoCon Assist Leader with Elite Bench Intensity
Brigid Morrissey (Furman, G) is a 2013-14 SoCon assist leader (5.3 APG) whose elite differentiator is her high-intensity bench presence, scoring a career-high 15 points with 12-of-16 free throws in one game while dishing 11 assists in another. Her personality shines through relentless fast-break execution and clutch free-throw sealing, as seen when she helped seal a SoCon Tournament win with two critical free throws. Though she averaged only 2.8 PPG, her 69 assists (second on squad) and 151 season assists reveal a playmaker who elevates team defense and flow. She’s a perfect fit for teams needing a gritty, intelligent guard who thrives off the bench with zero injury history and maximum intensity.
