veteran Rice wing who brought shooting, rebounding, and two-way grit
Bishop Mency’s Rice profile is that of a proven veteran with real floor-spacing value: in the 2017-18 season, he started all 31 games, averaged 7.8 points and 5.0 rebounds, and ranked ninth in Rice history with 452 three-point attempts and 15th with 140 made threes. His differentiator is reliability—he was productive, durable, and clearly trusted in the rotation, with enough size for a guard and the willingness to do the dirty work on the glass. If your team wants a disciplined, experienced shooter who competes every possession, Mency fits the bill.
