John Rybak, a 6'8" forward for the Texas State Bobcats, started 29 of 30 games in the 2008-09 season, showcasing elite scoring potential with a 32-point, 10-rebound explosion at Rice, backed by a relentless work ethic praised by coach Dave Davalos; his First-Team Academic All-Southland Conference honor highlights smarts and discipline, making him a differentiated 'glue guy' with high intensity and leadership—ideal for teams seeking reliable, cerebral bigs, though now likely post-collegiate given the timeline.
