Isabella Alonso is Long Beach State’s veteran workhorse in the circle
In the 2026 season, senior right-hander Isabella Alonso became a true anchor for Long Beach State, earning Big West Pitcher of the Week honors and leading the team in wins, innings, and ERA while showing the kind of durability coaches love. She’s not just eating innings—she’s doing it with poise, a team-first edge, and enough command to keep opponents off balance, including a 0.95 WHIP early in the year and a 3.07 ERA with 12 wins by season’s end. A former CSUN starter, she brings proven Big West experience and a high-academic, high-competitiveness profile that fits any team wanting a battle-tested pitcher.
