Nevada safety Nick Hawthrone brings veteran experience and ball-hawk upside
Nick Hawthrone is a familiar name for Nevada, with sources indicating he has spent multiple seasons with the Wolf Pack and has produced splash plays before, including an interception return TD in the 2004 season and other takeaway moments in his Nevada career[3][8][12]. The big selling point is experience: he’s a seasoned defensive back who has shown instinct, play-making feel, and toughness in the secondary, even if the available stat traces are limited and not flashy by modern box-score standards[3][4]. If your team wants a dependable, veteran safety with game-changing moments and a steady presence, Hawthrone fits the mold[1][4].
