Diego Eslava is New College’s high-upside scoring guard with national-team polish
In the 2024-25 season, Diego Eslava made an immediate impact for New College of Florida, starting 27 of 28 games, averaging 11.9 points and 2.4 rebounds, and earning Sun Conference Freshman of the Year honors. He arrived from Seville with a résumé that includes Spain youth-national-team experience and a Spanish championship, which helps explain the poise and scoring punch that showed up right away. By the 2025-26 season, he had already flashed bigger-volume scoring nights, making him a fit for teams that value a confident, aggressive guard who can create offense and compete with some edge.
