Payton Kokaly brings high-upside versatility and reliable hands to Eastern Michigan
Payton Kokaly is a 2025 Eastern Michigan tight end commit from Davison who stood out as a three-star prospect and was voted one of Michigan’s top pass catchers entering the 2024 season. In his high school career, he totaled 49 catches for 650 yards across his junior and senior seasons, and he also delivered a late game-winning catch in 2024—good signs for a player who already shows poise in big moments. The appeal here is versatility: he played quarterback until junior year, so EMU is getting a smart, athletic TE with room to grow.
