Ryan McCrossan brings veteran linebacker grit and special-teams edge to Maine
McCrossan profiles as a dependable, assignment-sound linebacker with value beyond the box score: he has long been used in the middle of the defense and on special teams, and Maine’s official roster confirms he’s still part of the program in 2026. His differentiators are durability, field awareness, and a blue-collar style that tends to fit coaches who want a steady communicator and a tough, low-drama competitor. He’s the kind of player you care about if you value trust, physicality, and versatility more than flash.
