James Noble III brings efficient, low-volume production to UAB's backfield
Noble has been a steady, compact runner for UAB, showing efficiency rather than high-volume dominance: ESPN lists him with 77 carries for 447 yards and 1 touchdown, while UAB’s 2018 roster notes he appeared in all 13 games and made four starts, including a 74-yard outing against Alabama A&M.[2][1] At 5'7" and 185 pounds, he profiles as a quick, tough back who can be a reliable rotational fit, and recruiting commentary describes him as a hardworking player who is willing to learn and keeps pushing in practice.[3][4]
