McNeese’s name to watch in the backfield
Schulyer Olivier is a McNeese Cowboys running back whose exact current production is hard to pin down from available public stats, but his presence in the program’s RB room keeps him in a crowded, competition-heavy backfield. McNeese’s recent team rushing output has been modest by FCS standards, so any back who separates there likely brings burst, reliability, and toughness between the tackles. He looks like a fit for a staff that values depth, special-teams usefulness, and a blue-collar runner who can earn carries by doing the dirty work.
