Two-way Boston College guard with elite defensive instincts
Kami Mickens was a high-volume, high-impact backcourt player who paired scoring with disruption: in the 2012-13 season at Southlake Carroll, she posted 10.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 4.6 steals per game, while ESPN identified her as a 5-5 guard whose game is built on physical strength and athleticism. She was rated a three-star prospect by ESPN HoopGurlz and served as a team captain as a junior and senior, which points to leadership and competitiveness beyond the box score. If you value a scrappy, defense-first guard who can create pressure and set the tone, she’s a strong fit.
