Leon McMullen is an intriguing Norfolk State back with roster-level upside
Leon McMullen is listed on Norfolk State’s 2026 football roster as a running back, but publicly available stat-line detail is limited, so the best read is profile-based: a player worth monitoring for camp traction rather than proven production. The Spartans’ backfield has multiple RB options, which means McMullen’s value will hinge on how quickly he separates himself in pass protection, ball security, and burst after contact. If you’re looking for an under-the-radar fit, he’s the kind of back whose stock could rise fast with special-teams juice and a physical, high-energy style.
