Portland State LB Kasun Jackett: Prototypical middle linebacker with proven production
Kasun Jackett profiles as a classic middle linebacker—6-foot-2, 225 pounds, physical, and steady in the box—with Portland State previously describing him as a standout who could compete to start right away. In the 2017 season, he posted 91 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 2 pass breakups, and a fumble recovery, showing real range and disruption beyond simple tackle volume. That kind of leadership-and-playmaking profile makes him appealing for a defense that wants a tough, assignment-sound signal-caller in the middle, not just a stat collector.
