Big-bodied SFA tight end with upside, but the stat sheet is still waiting
In the 2025 season, Jerrale Powers entered Stephen F. Austin as a redshirt junior TE at 6-foot-3, 222 pounds, bringing size and transfer pedigree from Florida State, where he made a season debut in 2024 but did not record notable stats. His appeal is more projection than production right now: he looks like a developmental tight end who could grow into a useful in-line option, especially with his frame and fresh start closer to home. If you want instant box-score juice, he’s not that guy yet; if you want a depth piece with upside and room to carve out a role, he’s worth a look.
