Nicholls DB Ellis Borden brings value as a depth-and-development defensive back
Ellis Borden is a Nicholls defensive back worth watching for his fit in a program that has leaned on defense to stay competitive, but publicly available stat-level performance data on his 2025-26 impact is limited. Nicholls’ broader team profile suggests a defense-first environment where a DB must be physical, assignment-sound, and reliable in space, and Borden’s value would likely come from coverage discipline, tackling, and special-teams utility rather than flashy numbers. Based on the available sources, he projects as a useful roster piece if your team wants toughness, versatility, and developmental upside.
