Austin Avery brings Bison-grade reliability with brains, size, and a coachable edge
Austin Avery is a 6-foot-3, 249-pound North Dakota State tight end whose biggest selling points are his size, versatility, and proven track record as a dependable, high-character player; he was listed on NDSU’s roster at TE and earned multiple Missouri Valley Football Conference academic honors, including the Presidents Council Academic Award in 2022. He isn’t a flashy stat-sheet merchant, but he looks like the kind of tough, assignment-sound Bison piece who can help a team in the trenches, in the classroom, and in the locker room—basically, the football version of a Swiss Army knife with a 3.5 GPA.
