Versatile Defensive Prospect with a Path to More
Jadyn Landrum is a Southern University linebacker with a compact, physical profile and a reputation as a multi-sport athlete who brings toughness and leadership traits that don’t always show up in box scores. Southern listed him at 6-foot, 220 pounds in its 2020 signing class, and he was later noted as a 3-star composite recruit by 247Sports before ultimately moving to tight end at Colorado State in spring 2025, which underscores his athletic versatility. He is best viewed as a developmental defender whose fit depends on how much a team values instincts, effort, and positional flexibility over immediate stat production.
