freshman guard with a clean slate at Radford
Cannaday is listed as a 6-2, 170-pound freshman guard from Independence, Va., but Radford’s roster page shows no game statistics yet, so the on-court evaluation is still more projection than proof in the 2026 season. What stands out most is fit: a local guard body, early-career upside, and the kind of developmental profile that can grow into value if his speed, decision-making, and perimeter consistency come along. If you need an immediate stat-sheet engine, he’s not that yet; if you want a young guard with room to become a useful rotation piece, he’s worth a closer look.
