Steady, physical UVA linebacker with a pass-rush edge
Matt Gahm has been valued at Virginia for his consistency, toughness, and ability to play hard in multiple linebacker roles; in 2020, he appeared in all 10 games, made six tackles, recorded a sack, and even forced a fumble-return score against Duke. He was described by UVA coaches as a dependable, mature fit who brings a steadying presence and is especially useful as a boundary/WILL linebacker and pass rusher. If you want a linebacker who plays with urgency, experience, and no-nonsense reliability, Gahm is the kind of glue guy coaches trust.
