veteran NAU safety with a knack for stuffing the stat sheet
Josh Clarke is a physical, playmaking safety for Northern Arizona who flashed impact production in the 2017 season, including an 11-tackle, 3.0-TFL performance with a sack and pass breakup against Illinois State, earning Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week honors. His calling card is downhill run support and disruptive timing near the line of scrimmage, which makes him more than a box-score safety—he’s the kind of defender who can tilt a game with energy and violence. If you want a tone-setter who shows up in big moments, Clarke fits the vibe.
