LeAnna Morrison brings veteran speed, toughness, and a do-it-all backcourt edge to South Carolina
LeAnna Morrison is a 5-5 redshirt sophomore guard for South Carolina who has already shown she can contribute in limited minutes, appearing in 23 games and eight SEC contests while scoring in both SEC Tournament games in 2013-14 and earning action in two NCAA Tournament games. Her best traits are quickness, relentless intensity, and versatility from a multi-sport background that made her one of South Carolina’s most decorated all-around athletes. She fits as a scrappy, high-energy guard who can defend, push pace, and provide a veteran spark rather than just box-score production.
