Ed Butler gives Tennessee a developmental tight end with room to rise
Ed Butler is listed on Tennessee’s 2026 roster as a senior tight end, but public stat lines and deeper performance data are limited, so the appeal here is more about fit than flash[1]. What stands out is the profile: a big-bodied, in-system TE who can add value through blocking, special teams, and steady reliability if he earns snaps in a crowded room. If your team wants a proven producer, the numbers are thin; if you want a tough, developmental piece with depth value, Butler is at least interesting.[1]
