Jackson Kaufusi brings BYU a high-motor linebacker with Utah roots and upside
Jackson Kaufusi is a BYU linebacker from Cottonwood Heights, Utah, and the public stat profile available now is still limited, so the bigger story is projection: he looks like a local-fit defender with the kind of positional value that can matter most in a physical, assignment-driven front. His appeal is the linebacker archetype teams want for reliability and development rather than flash, and BYU fans should care because players like this often become depth-moving, special-teams-useful pieces with room to grow into a larger role.
