Kaden Lehew is a rising Illinois State linebacker with size, upside, and special-teams grit
In the 2025 season, Kaden Lehew logged action in three games and finished with one tackle after redshirting in 2024 and seeing special-teams duty as a freshman, so the appeal here is upside more than a box-score avalanche[4]. At 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, he brings a bigger linebacker frame, and his recruiting background suggests real two-way athleticism from Grace Prep, where he was a touchdown-heavy playmaker on both offense and defense[4][15]. For a team looking for a developmental defender with length, toughness, and growth runway, Lehew looks like a smart stash rather than an instant-stat monster[4][15].
