Big-bodied, physical Eastern Washington defensive lineman with upside in the trenches
Joe Douglas profiles as a **rugged interior/edge DL** whose value starts with size, physicality, and trench toughness rather than flashy stat production. For a team, the appeal is a player who can help set the tone against the run, hold ground, and bring a hard-nosed mentality that translates to reliable snap-to-snap effort. I couldn’t verify current season-specific stats or rankings from the provided sources, so the strongest takeaway is fit: he looks like the kind of lineman who can strengthen a defense that wants attitude, leverage, and consistency inside.
