Trey Wheeler brings efficient, late-game QB value for San Diego
Trey Wheeler has shown he can step in and execute efficiently, including a 19-of-32, 151-yard, 2-touchdown outing against Stetson and a perfect 4-for-4 relief stretch in an FCS playoff game at Montana[3]. He profiles as a calm, situational quarterback rather than a flashy volume producer, which makes him useful if you want poise, command, and low-mistake decision-making under pressure[3][4].
