Makala Gasparek brings steady, low-usage guard minutes for Youngstown State
Gasparek profiles as a compact, defensive-minded guard who has contributed in a reserve role for Youngstown State, with roster records listing her at 5-foot-5 and game logs showing limited but reliable minutes, including free-throw accuracy and occasional bench production in the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons. The standout context is her local Boardman/Youngstown background and team-first role rather than eye-popping stats: she helped lead her high school to postseason success, and at YSU she was the kind of guard coaches trust to stay ready, defend, and fill a gap without needing the ball.
