7-foot Bethune-Cookman center Ugo Okam brings size, rim protection, and low-usage efficiency
Ugo Okam is a classic big-man fit: at 7-0 and 255 pounds, the Bethune-Cookman center gives a team true interior size, shot-blocking upside, and efficient finishing near the rim, including a 2025-26 game with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks against UCF. His statistical profile has been modest overall, but his value is in the defensive anchor potential and physical presence that don’t always show up in raw scoring totals. If you need a long, sturdy center who can protect the paint and stay within structure, he’s a sensible fit rather than a high-usage offensive hub.
