J.J. Miles gives East Carolina a versatile, shot-creating guard with a proven scoring ceiling
Miles has shown he can handle a real workload and produce, averaging 9.8 points in 16 games with 11 starts while playing 27.1 minutes per game, and he has a 21-point NCAA game on his résumé; ESPN lists him at 7.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game with 36.9% shooting in the 2024-25 season, while 247Sports shows he has been a steady rotation piece with flashes of bigger scoring nights. His appeal is size for a guard, scoring versatility and enough experience to fit a system that values length and lineups that can switch and create matchup problems.
