Brison Abbott, a Northern Arizona freshman RB from Bakersfield, arrives with real juice: in the 2024-25 high school season he piled up 1,572 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns, and over his Bakersfield career he averaged 8.9 yards per carry while surpassing 4,400 rushing yards. The fit is obvious for a program wanting an explosive, compact runner with production, toughness, and proven scoring punch; the big question is how quickly that high-school dominance translates against FCS speed and contact.
