2013 CFPA FCS Defensive Back of the Year for Tennessee State Tigers
Daniel Fitzpatrick, a standout safety for the Tennessee State Tigers, earned the 2013 College Football Performance Awards FCS Defensive Back of the Year honor, showcasing elite ball skills and playmaking ability from Fort Wayne, IN. His award highlights differentiators like instincts, coverage tenacity, and turnover creation that made him a lockdown presence in the secondary—ideal for teams needing a reliable, high-motor DB with FCS-proven leadership. Though college career stats are limited publicly, his national recognition signals NFL potential; a smart fit for programs valuing battle-tested intensity over raw size.
